As an Otaku myself - I am addicted to anime, manga and asian dramas. And Otakus such as myself and others around the world share one common dream: TO BE PART OF THE THINGS WE ENJOY!!! By this I mean, as Otakus we wish to escape to an alternate reality, leaving all worldly troubles behind us. We wish to be part of the anime universe - fughting alongside Goku against evils and saving planets, or taking part in the Pokemon League wit a dream to catch them all. However, most of this is just fantasies we can dream of at the moment, but maybe in the future we may discover mirror-dimension in which this is possible. Hence, as an Otaku I will never stop dreaming for that day to come true.
